The Science
Your hair is most vulnerable the moment it gets wet. Water causes the cuticle to open like lifted roof shingles, and terry cloth's looped fibers catch those open scales with every pass, lifting and chipping them. GWEN's waffle weave microfiber is too fine to snag, wicking moisture through capillary action so your cuticle stays flat and your hair stays intact.
Care Instructions
Hand wash warm. No bleach or fabric softener. Line dry. No iron.

Frequently Asked Questions
Regular terry cloth towels are made from looped cotton fibers that catch on your hair cuticle while it's open and vulnerable from water exposure. That friction lifts and chips the cuticle scales, which is a direct cause of frizz, dullness, and breakage over time. GWEN's waffle weave microfiber fibers are too fine to snag. They wick moisture through capillary action, absorbing water without heavy friction, so your cuticle stays flat and your hair stays intact.
Yes. The GWEN Hair Towel is designed for all hair types and textures, including fine, thick, curly, coily, and color-treated hair. Curly hair in particular benefits from the reduced-friction drying method, which preserves curl pattern and reduces frizz during the most vulnerable drying window. Fine hair benefits from the reduced tension and lighter weight versus a traditional bath towel.
10 to 20 minutes is enough for most hair types to move from soaking wet to damp, ready for air drying or styling. The goal is not to fully dry your hair in the towel. It is to remove excess water passively so your hair spends less time saturated, and less time under heat if you blow dry.
For best results, hand wash in warm water with a small amount of gentle detergent. No bleach. No fabric softener. Line dry or lay flat. Do not iron.
